Broadway Mile
The year 2011 saw a very promising start for Newcastle's Broadway Mile, as they found themselves supporting artists such as Bluejuice, You Am I, and The Holidays. The trio continued that momentum while working on their debut EP, Now You Know. Recorded at STL studios on the Central Coast of New South Wales with producer Sonny Truelove (Sienna Skies, Joywave), their five-song release has drawn comparisons to Simple Plan, Owl City and Motion City Soundtrack, while capturing the natural energy from their live performances. Already receiving early U.S. radio airplay from indie1031.com, KNRK Portland, KCMP Minneapolis, WEQX Albany, Moheak Radio and more, Broadway Mile are gearing up for two industry showcases. The first is in Melbourne on October 27th at Revolver Upstairs, followed by a showcase on November 3rd in Sydney at the Oxford Arts Factory.
