Catholic Action

Catholic Action

Fronted by singer/guitarist Chris McCrory, already a leading light in Glasgow's fervent music scene as a producer and former member of Casual Sex, Catholic Action has impressed tastemakers and audiences alike with their patented brand of post-punk, jangly guitars and glam-influenced pop. Last year saw Catholic Action tipped by the likes of Annie Mac and Huw Stephens, land a spot at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, all while picking up fans from the likes of NME, DIY and The Independent along the way. The band has created huge waves with their two singles, "L.U.V." and the catchy singalong "Rita Ora." The rising Scottish upstarts have received incredible support at BBC Introducing, which hosted Catholic Action at their showcase at this year's SXSW. The quartet recently announced their signing to new independent label Modernsky, which will release their debut album later in 2017.
