Lucie Evans
At the age of 16, Lucie Evans has built an army of fans that love her unique soulful voice with a mischievous rock edge. In 2008 the Warrington, England native won the grand prize in the National Festival of Stars competition, UK. Also, in February of 2009, she proved her popularity when she won the grand prize in an online talent competition 1click2fame.com, which gave her the opportunity to record four songs at the legendary Tuff Gong Studios. After recording tracks with Norwegian production maestros D-Sign, she was off to Los Angeles to record with inspirational songwriter and producer Marshall Altman. Marshall has recorded with William Fitzsimmons (“The Sparrow and the Crow”) and Kate Voegele (“Don’t Look Away”), which sold over 250,000 copies. While in LA, news of Lucie’s incredible vocal talents spread quickly and she was invited to meet celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who asked her to perform at one of his exclusive parties. Her influences include Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce and Katy Perry, although she’s determined to develop her own, instantly recognizable, vocal style. The young songstress won’t stop until she’s conquered the world with her beautiful voice, a goal which one listen to her songs is proof enough to convince you that she’s not far away from achieving. She is currently rehearsing a band for her live show and has plans to take her show on a world-wide tour this year.
