Paceshifters

Paceshifters

Paceshifters is an up and coming Dutch noise rock trio, consisting of drummer/vocalist Jesper Albers, bassist/vocalist Paul Dokman and guitarist/vocalist Seb Dokman, that doesn't care about lists, bank accounts or what is hip. As anyone who has witnessed one of their live shows over the past five years can attest, Paceshifters charges the musical landscape with an unbridled ambition and energy. They've shared stages with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Deep Purple, Marilyn Manson, 3 Doors Down, Triggerfinger and Therapy?; in fact, after witnessing Paceshifters' live show, Andy Cairns of Therapy? was inspired to comment, "If the future of Dutch Rock n Roll is in the hands of Paceshifters, it's in f***ing safe hands!" The leading music magazine in The Netherlands, Oor, raved about the first single: "If the record is as good as the single 'Drone,' without a doubt, 2014 will be the year of the Paceshifters," while the biggest Dutch newspaper Telegraaf proclaimed, "CD of the week! Dirty, dark, roaring…This is how rock was meant to be!" Also, 3FM, the most important national radio station, immediately deemed them "Serious Talent" in summer 2014, securing them airplay and a lot of attention on the station.
