A&R WORLDWIDE’S "ARTIST OF THE WEEK" – JADE HELLIWELL

Jade Helliwell may not be a household name just yet-but this 25 year-old singer-songwriter from Yorkshire, England has the talent to be one of the greats. This Summer, Jade walked past a busker in Leeds and on the spur of the moment sang “Hallelujah.” Jade’s friend posted a video on Facebook in seven weeks the video had over 17 million views. The recent British Country Music Association award-winner for UK Female Vocal is getting early comparisons to Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood and justifiably so with her dazzling songwriting and vocals. Writing and singing her own songs, Jade’s style is a notably British blend of Contemporary Country, with a hint of Mainstream Pop music. Jade has opened for such artists as The Christians, Throne Hill, NARN, The Muldoon Brothers, The Dunwells, Turin Brakes, Graham Goulding and T-Rex. Her self-funded Forget The Night EP shot straight to No.1 on the iTunes UK Country charts, peaking at No.8 in the main UK iTunes charts. Listen to Jade’s infectious single “Never Learn” HERE, and contact Jonathan Shalit OBE at jonathan@roarglobal.com as Jade is available for worldwide label and publishing opportunities.

In the last two years, he spent most of his time in the U.S., touring with Fifth Harmony, releasing a track with NBA star Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and even being praised in the studio by multi-platinum artist and producer, Akon. Watch the video for his latest single “What Good Is Love” HERE as well as the brand-new acoustic version, as seen HERE.
