Multi-talented Los Angeles-based rock band Capra has secured a multi-album deal with Hollywood Records President Bob Cavallo. The band who has garnered strong development support and consultation from A&R Worldwide for the past two years are currently in the studio writing and recording their debut album for Hollywood Records. Capra secured a global publishing deal last year with publisher PMP, which was facilitated through the efforts of A&R Worldwide. In addition, A&R Worldwide was instrumental in the band securing international management with their now manager Andre Recke, Founder, Boo Management (Hilary Duff, Nikka Costa) who helped bring the band to Hollywood Records.
Recke tells A&R Worldwide, "Hollywood Records was the perfect home for Capra and I'm looking forward to continue the success we had in the past together."
Sat Bisla, Founder, A&R Worldwide commented, "We're very excited for Capra to be working with Hollywood Records and Andre Recke - they are a fantastic team. We know Capra will garner strong international success with their captive songs, electrifying live performance and stellar attitude. I'd also like to thank the entire A&R Worldwide staff for supporting and believing in Capra for the past couple of years. We're stoked to see what the future holds for Capra - we're very confident it will be bright."
Capra's Michael Johnson added, "We are very excited to have signed with Hollywood Records. The five of us have been influenced by the imagination and creativity of Disney companies for most of our lives and we hope to keep that alive throughout our records and performances and everything in between. We have great respect for Hollywood's position in this ever-changing industry and we hope to keep pushing the limits of what we are and never stop surprising ourselves and our fans with their support.
Capra is in Los Angeles and working with Hollywood Records A&R executive Matt Harris and the label team.
