Frank Turner

Frank Turner

It's rare, indeed, to find a former member of a hardcore punk band turn to the acoustic singer/songwriter gig…but then again, Frank Turner isn't your average musician. Born in Bahrain but raised in the U.K., Frank spent four years with the critically acclaimed band Million Dead before the ever-popular "creative differences" contributed to the demise of the group. A&R Worldwide worked directly with Frank Turner and his management team in developing his profile in the U.S., with labels, radio, music supervisors and agents, which led to Turner growing his fan-base and media profile substantially in the U.S. This included Frank Turner playing his first U.S. show in front of the A&R Worldwide staff and 2 guests back in 2007, to eventually playing in front of hundreds of fans at shows in the U.S. and building strong media support in the U.S. thanks to A&R Worldwide's efforts. Frank Turner was able to secure a nationwide booking agent – Caitlin Roffman at UTA in Beverly Hills who was introduced to Frank Turner by A&R Worldwide. He was subsequently signed in the Summer of 2009 to Epitaph Records and was recently featured as the lead artist on the 2012 Olympic Games official music soundtrack.
