The Chevin
A&R Worldwide assisted The Chevin, their label and management team network with essential opportunities early in their career path by getting them in front of many industry decision makers and music executives. The Leeds, England four-piece international buzz act signed multiple label deals including Sony Music for Germany, Switzerland, Austria (G/S/A) and Just Music in South Africa, as well as being in the midst of finalizing an Australasian deal, all with support from A&R Worldwide. Founder & President, A&R Worldwide, Sat Bisla worked alongside manager Pete Galli and U.K. Indie label powerhouse So Recordings' Managing Director Reynold D'Silva and Label Manager Adam Greenup to secure The Chevin's song "Champion" on the FIFA 13 soundtrack with the help from Worldwide Executive, Music and Music Marketing for Electronic Arts, Steve Schnur and his team in addition to other deals throughout Europe. Manager Pete Galli stated "Every great artist I've worked with has had multiple cultural momtnes that have been game changes for their career. But, before these cultural moments, they have had an industry moment. For our new artist The Chevin, this moment happened at this year's MUSEXPO in Los Angeles, which was organized by A&R Worldwide." Sat Bisla added, "When I first was introduced to The Chevin by Simon Williams at Fierce Panda early last year, I knew they were special. They have performed on the Late Show with David Letterman and Conan as well as toured with The Airborne Toxic Event, The Pigeon Detectives, White Lies and The Psychedelic Furs. |
