Jem
A&R ace Bruce Flohr (he signed Dave Matthews Band and Foo Fighters at RCA) signed Jem to ATO Records (Dave Matthews label whose roster includes David Gray, My Morning Jacket, Patty Griffin, Ben Kweller). Jem captured the attention of Nic Harcourt former Music Director KCRW Los Angeles due to her own efforts and those of legal advisor Sarah Stennett and manager Chloe Griffiths. Harcourt's support helped place Jem on the A&R map. A&R Worldwide's Sat Bisla worked with Jem and her team in helping set-up meetings with the A&R community including Bruce Flohr. Jem states, "I was happy to have found the right home at ATO Records. Huge thanks to everyone at KCRW and Nic Harcourt, for it was his 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' show that Bruce first heard my music. I'd also like to thank A&R Worldwide's Sat Bisla and his staff for all of their support and to Sat for helping set-up the meeting with Bruce Flohr where he offered to sign me to ATO Records." Flohr states, "Jem is an incredibly talented vocalist and performer. All of us at ATO Records are extremely fortunate to be working for her."
