Makeshift Innocence
![]() The Calgary, Alberta-based reggae/ska/rock quartet Makeshift Innocence first received major industry attention while performing at A&R Worldwide & AllAccess.com's 2011 Worldwide Radio Summit in Los Angeles. A&R Worldwide Founder & President Sat Bisla and Sr. VP Monte Malone have since worked closely with the band and with manager Trey Mills. The result was obtaining a deal with Berlin, Germany-based DEAG Entertainment, which is one of the largest booking agencies in Europe, as well as one of the largest independent labels in Germany. The deal was secured recently with DEAG Music Managing Director Björn Teske with help from Deville Schober, Managing Director, A&R Worldwide Germany. Björn Teske stated, "I am really proud and happy to have such a talented and charismatic artist on the DEAG Music roster and would like to thank A&R Worldwide for their support. With this signing we are consequently completing the live and label philosophy." Manager Trey Mills stated "I'd like to thank the A&R Worldwide Management team of Sat Bisla, Monte Malone and Joe Arnold who early on shared our global vision, along with the DEAG Music group. We believe we have something special with Makeshift Innocence and their potential to be a massive radio, sync and touring act globally." |
