McQueen
Leading U.K. rock group McQueen inked a record deal with independent Finnish label Merceedees Records in Finland. Merceedees is home to hotly-tipped new Scandinavian rock band Bloodpit who have secured two No.1 Records in Finland. McQueen were one of the most played unsigned British rock bands on U.S. commercial Rock and Alternative Radio in the U.S. for 2006; and they've secured record deals in almost all territories worldwide Seven Webster, Managing Director of A7 Music who formerly represented McQueen stated, "The deal came together as a direct result of A&R Worldwide's Sat Bisla bringing the band to the attention of Paavo Backman, Managing Director of Merceedees. The team from Merceedees then flew over to catch McQueen play a show at Camden's Underworld and a deal was struck shortly afterwords. A&R Worldwide has been responsible for instigating yet another great deal for McQueen and thanks to their help so much has happened for the band."
