Rob Dougan

Australian artist Rob Dougan inked a deal with Warner Bros. for North America thanks to the help of A&R Worldwide's Sat Bisla. Sat was instrumental in helping facilitate dialogue between Warner Bros. and BMG U.K. & Ireland. Renowned industry veteran Jeff Ayeroff and Director of Marketing Xavier Ramos brought Dougan to the attention of label Chairman/CEO Tom Whalley, who decided they should sign Dougan to the label. "I'd like to thank A&R Worldwide's Sat Bisla for turning me on to Rob Dougan back in 1998," says Ramos. "He has been instrumental in keeping me informed about Rob's progress with his record. Sat has been my main contact in trying to sign Rob, first at Restless Records and now here at Warner Bros." Dougan's tracks "Furious Angels," "I'm Not Driving Anymore" and "Chateau" are all featured on Matrix Reloaded. His track "Clubbed To Death," was featured on the original Matrix movie and soundtrack, as well as appearing on numerous TV commercials around the globe. Dougan remixed a Frank Sinatra track (the first artist to ever do so with the formal blessing of the Sinatra estate).
