A&R Worldwide was an early believer and supporter of the talented Swedish musical duo Smith & Thell since early 2015, when we first came across the band via Patrik Larsson, an A&R executive at Playground Music Scandinavia in Stockholm, Sweden. Patrik discovered and signed the songwriting and musical two-piece for Scandinavia and was a key early believer who suggested A&R Worldwide become involved to help elevate Smith & Thell to the attention of the global music industry.

A&R Worldwide helped secure the band's first-ever worldwide radio support and helped them be featured as part of the "Int'l Music Industry Awards" presented in partnership with Pepsi at MUSEXPO in Hollywood, CA back in 2016. A few months later, Smith & Thell were one of the featured artists/songwriters at the Denniz Pop Awards in Stockholm, Sweden. The duo was selected by a panel that was led by multi-Platinum producer Max Martin (Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry), and the jury chose them as the New Artist of the Year, the same honor presented to Tove Lo the year prior.

Smith & Thell signed with Arista Records in the U.S. in December 2018 and are currently enjoy strong global success with their latest single, "Forgive Me Friend," which has already racked-up tens of millions of streams and views worldwide.
