SoShy

French phenomenon SoShy signed to a worldwide deal with then SONY BMG Music by David Massey, former EVP, A&R, Sony Music Label Group US/President, Daylight Records back in 2007. The iconic, global-centric pop singer had been in the midst of a bidding competition with three majors on the heels of her explosive A&R Worldwide performance and thanks to A&R Worldwide helping generate her profile and interest in her amongst many key U.S. label executives. Massey was ultimately able to persuade SoShy to make SONY BMG her worldwide home. SoShy was discovered by then Right Bank's former VP Stephane Bombet. SoShy made international music history by becoming the first French female artist to be signed by a U.S. major for their worldwide debut!
