The Dares

Multi-talented teen rock outfit The Dares signed a worldwide deal with Jive Records. The Dares were signed to Jive by Teresa Labarbera-White, VP A&R, Jive (she signed Jessica Simpson and Destiny's Child and also A&R'd Beyonce whilst at Sony). The trio captured industry attention after teaming up with then Stephane Bombet, former VP Right Bank Music who turned A&R Worldwide onto the band. Bombet stated, "Playing at A&R Worldwide's showcase was a great opportunity for The Dares because that was the first time they were facing the industry at large. A&R Worldwide's support and showcase garnered some great responses from the A&R community and many opportunities emerged as a result of their showcase."
