The Ting Tings

The TIng Tings

A&R Worldwide played a very important early role in helping the Ting Tings garner support pre-signing in the U.S. It was through A&R Worldwide's efforts that The Ting Tings had their first radio support in N. America, as well was their first ever music placement on EA Games back in 2007 for the song, "That's Not My Name." In addition, A&R Worldwide helped arrange Ting Tings first ever radio interview in N. America on the former Indie 103.1 FM Los Angeles as well the band's first performance on "Morning Becomes Eclectic" on KCRW Los Angeles with former host Nic Harcourt. Also, A&R Worldwide introduced Ting Tings management to the worldwide head of iTunes Music & Label relations, which resulted in them being featured on iTunes main store front worldwide and through the relationship with iTunes landed the national iPod commercial in N. America. Stephen Taverner, original manager of the Ting Tings stated, "Before we even signed a record deal, Sat [Bisla] from A&R Worldwide was talking the Ting Tings up in America. From being the first to playing their demo's on the radio, to telling everyone he knew in the music business. A&R Worldwide's input was invaluable in getting the ball rolling stateside for The Ting Tings."
