Prior to Coldplay having a US record deal. A&R Worldwide founder Sat Bisla worked with the band's manager Dave Holmes (and then GM of Nettwerk Music America) in the US in securing some of the band's first ever radio support in the US for the import single, "Yellow." A number of stations ended-up adding the band into official rotation based upon the reaction the import single garnered. Coldplay eventually signed with Nettwerk and then Capitol Records in the US.
