SONY MUSIC U.K. APPOINTS JEROME PORRITT AS HEAD OF A&R AT RCA

Sony Music U.K. has named Jerome Porritt as the new Head of A&R at RCA Records U.K. In the role, Porritt will report to RCA Co-Presidents Glyn Aikins and Stacey Tang and take charge of leading the label’s A&R strategy, including the signing and creative development of its artist roster.

Porritt brings more than ten years of A&R experience to the position, most recently serving as Head of A&R at Warner Records and Parlophone U.K. His appointment comes on the back of a strong period for RCA, which in 2025 has seen success with artists including Jade, who delivered the year’s biggest debut album launch, as well as Bring Me The Horizon, Cat Burns, and Myles Smith, the latter surpassing 3.2 billion streams.
Glyn Aikins, Co-President, RCA Records U.K., Sony Music U.K., said, “Jerome is one of the most instinctive and culturally fluent A&R executives of his generation. He combines deep musical taste with a clear strategic mindset and a genuine ability to build trust with artists and creative partners. His track record speaks for itself, but what excites me most is his understanding of where culture is moving next and how RCA can continue to lead from the front. Jerome’s appointment reflects our commitment to evolving our A&R leadership and investing in people who will shape the future of the label.”
Jerome Porritt added, “I have long been an admirer of the work Stacey and Glyn have been doing at RCA, so to be joining the team at such a pivotal time in the industry is exciting. RCA is a label that is locked and loaded to have even more success in 2026 and beyond. I am excited to be a part of that.”
During his time at Warner and Parlophone, Porritt was instrumental in delivering a number of Platinum-certified records, such as Max Dean‘s “Can’t Decide,” Disco Lines‘ “No Broke Boys” featuring Tinashe, and The Blessed Madonna‘s “Happier.” He also played a key role in the signings of artists including Chase & Status, Luude, Steel Banglez, Sofia & The Antoinettes, and Mist.
RESPECTED U.K. EXECUTIVE HARRI DAVIES JOINS THE OTHER SONGS AS HEAD OF A&R

Burgeoning U.K. music company The Other Songs has appointed Harri Davies as its new Head of A&R. Davies joins the company after most recently holding the role of Head of A&R at RCA Records U.K., where he led a roster that included Myles Smith, Jade, Charlotte Plank, Tyla, and Bring Me The Horizon.

His arrival follows the announcement that Jerome Porritt has been named Head of A&R at RCA, marking a shift in senior A&R leadership. Prior to his time at RCA, Davies spent several years at Concord Music Publishing as Senior Director of A&R. During his tenure, at Concord Music Publishing he played a key role in signing a number of key Grammy and BRIT-winning artist-writers, including Tyla, Chase & Status, Flowdan, Walshy Fire, and Imanbek.
Davies began his career as an engineer and producer, an experience that continues to shape his artist-first approach to A&R and talent development. Throughout his career, he has secured deals with songwriters and producers such as Sammy Soso, Jake Gosling, Neiked, Biff Stannard, Yoz Beatz, and Jin Jin.
“Harri is one of the most respected A&Rs in the business,” stated Alastair Webber, CEO, The Other Songs. “He has an extraordinary ear for talent with the ability to spot artists and songwriters early and turn them into superstars. What really excites me is that Harri started his career as an engineer and producer, so he understands the craft from the ground up. That combination of creative instinct and technical expertise is incredibly rare, and it is exactly what we need as we continue to build something special here. We cannot wait to get started.”
Earlier in his career, Davies led the A&R function at independent publisher Bucks Music Group, where he worked with an eclectic roster including Erol Alkan, Mala, XTC, and Roni Size, and oversaw publishing partnerships with labels such as RAM Records and Phantasy Sound.
Harri Davies will make his first appearance outside of the U.K. as new Head of A&R, The Other Songs on the key “Global A&R” forum at this year’s MUSEXPO in Burbank, CA, which takes place from March 22nd – March 25th.

LMFAO’s Red Foo and Sky Blu subsequently went on to sign major label record deals and garner worldwide success after their memorable performance in front of the U.S. and global music industry at their legendary showcase at MUSEXPO.

ZANDER
Yorkshire-born, London-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Zander is starting off 2026 on the right foot with the shimmering indie-pop standout “Dance Around My Bedroom,” taken from his debut EP No Silver, out now via tastemaker label Chess Club Records. Since the EP’s late-2025 release, Zander has quickly become one of the most talked-about new U.K. voices, praised for his emotional clarity, magnetic hooks, and a genre-blurring sound that feels both intimate and euphoric. “Dance Around My Bedroom” has already become a fan favorite, a cathartic burst of joy built around the realization that life in London no longer feels like something happening to him, but something he gets to celebrate. No Silver chronicles Zander’s move from North Yorkshire to London, filtering childhood memories, culture shock, and self-doubt through his unmistakable production lens. From the indie punch of “New Woman,” to the heart-shifting tenderness of “Madeline,” the EP highlights Zander’s remarkable ability to blend emotional honesty with adventurous, sharply crafted pop. In the months following the EP’s release, Zander has built serious momentum: a BBC Radio Introducing Maida Vale session, continued support from DORK, DIY, The Line of Best Fit, Ones To Watch, and a run of buzzy U.K. live dates. With No Silver, Zander is not just introducing himself, he is staking his claim as one of the U.K.’s most versatile and exciting new songwriters, and “Dance Around My Bedroom” is his brightest, boldest step yet. Listen to the track HERE, and reach out to Meg for radio and publicity inquiries, and Ben, management for Zander, for available opportunities and additional information pertaining to Zander.
Kid Kapichi charge into 2026 with Fearless Nature, a fearless and deeply human album that finds the Hastings, England band at their most exposed, and most powerful, to date. Out now via Spinefarm, the record captures a group unafraid to show the cracks beneath the armor, turning moments of self-doubt into fuel for something louder, bolder, and more expansive than ever before. Their latest single “Worst Kept Secret” distills that spirit into a punchy, emotionally charged rush, while the dreamlike video for “Rabbit Hole” pulls listeners further into the album’s introspective core. Together, they introduce a band amid reinvention, reshaped by line-up changes and a renewed creative urgency. Produced by Mike Horner and Ben Beetham alongside the band, with mixing from George Perks, Fearless Nature marks a shift inward for Kid Kapichi. Frontman Jack Wilson trades outward-looking social commentary for reflection, grappling with personal darkness and emerging with clarity, resilience, and hard-earned perspective. It is the sound of a brotherhood rebuilt, pushing into uncharted territory without losing the grit, conviction, or heart that has defined them for over a decade. With a stacked run of 2026 festival dates already confirmed, and more on the horizon, Kid Kapichi are not just entering a new era, they are owning it. Enjoy the visual for “Rabbit Hole” HERE, and for more information on Kid Kapichi, please contact Lailah O’Donnell.
